Mission Work We Support:
We at the Bethel Congregation are actively participating in Mission Work of the Church - spreading the Gospel through several means, both locally and the throughout the World. We are doing our best to follow the commands of our Lord as He was about to depart this earth to return to heaven in order to prepare our eternal home (John 14:1-4) and he left us with these instructions:
"And Jesus came and said to them, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Michael and Diane lead campaigns in Jamaica, Costa Rica, Alaska, Mexico, as well as other state side works. Their work consists of preaching God's Word, conducting personal Bible studies, teaching kids classes, and VBS. They also do work with helping congregations that need help maintaining their buildings. While at home they work closely with their home congregation in Davis City, IA. Fred is an evangelist working with a congregation in Newton, IA. This congregation was started a few years ago and is quickly growing. Fred and Dorothy are working to plant congregations in this part of Iowa. Fred also leads a mission group to Jamaica every year to conduct Bible studies and teach people about God's Word. The Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort immediately responds to any major disaster in the United States, and US Territories by sending truckloads of emergency food, water, cleaning, and other supplies to be distributed to all disaster victims in the disaster area through a local church of Christ.
